Founder
Reed Hastings
Reed Hastings is the Co-founder of Netflix and CEO of Powder. He co-founded Netflix in 1997 and led the company as CEO for 25 years. Prior to Netflix, Reed founded Pure Software, which he took public before its acquisition in 1997. He is a board member of Bloomberg and Anthropic.
In 2023, Reed acquired Powder Mountain and now serves as CEO of Powder, leading the evolution of the mountain and its expansion as a private real estate development and ski resort.Reed has long been active in education philanthropy, serving as President of the California State Board of Education. He currently serves on the boards of several education nonprofits, including KIPP, City Fund, and the Charter School Growth Fund.
Reed earned a B.A. in mathematics from Bowdoin College and an M.S. in computer science with a focus on artificial intelligence from Stanford University. Between Bowdoin and Stanford, he served in the Peace Corps as a high school math teacher.

Constance Jones has two decades of experience successfully advancing educational opportunities.
Before leading the Imara Fund, Constance was CEO of Noble Schools in Chicago, overseeing more than 12,000 students from under-resourced communities. Under her leadership, students earned increased access to college scholarships and Noble improved stability and sustainability. She was inducted into the 2025 Charter Schools Hall of Fame. Previously, she held senior roles at the KIPP Foundation.
As a 2024 USA Eisenhower Fellow in Ghana and Brazil, Constance explored community-based approaches to address complex social challenges. She is an engaged board member, advisor, and coach for organizations focused on education and impact-driven leadership.
Constance holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
